The Back to the trees event brings together dozens of artists around a collective exhibition entirely located around a forest trail.
The performance made here is minimal: during a given time (about three hours), the artist maintains a campfire, dressed in a suit, clothing maladjusted for a wet and muddy forest. Gradually, the costume is soiled with clay and ash, testifying for a return to nature.
L'événement Back to the trees rassemble plusieurs dizaines d'artistes autour d'une exposition collective prenant place le long d'un parcours en foret.
La performance réalisée ici est minimale : pendant un temps donné (environ trois heures), l'artiste entretient un feu de camp, habillé en costume, vêtement inadapté à la forêt humide et boueuse. Au fur et à mesure, le costume se salit de terre et de cendre, témoignant d'un retour à la nature qui s'opère.
