On demandera toujours  à l’artiste-performeur, s’il se considère comme artiste ou comme oeuvre. Ici, il s'oppose face à la sculpture, dont on cherche encore à définir si elle est simple représentation d’un corps, objet d’art, ou objet sacré.

Le face à face entre les deux figures n’est pas vindicatif : c'est le regard intrigué d’un Homme, dubitatif, semblable à celui que l’on arbore face à ces miroirs déformants, ne sachant plus bien si notre figure reflétée n’appartient pas à un tout autre monde, celui des mythes et des ombres.

The artist-performer will always be asked if he considers himself an artist or a work. Here, he is opposed to the sculpture, which we are still trying to define if it is a simple representation of a body, an art-object, or sacred object.

The face-to-face between the two figures is not vindictive: it is the intrigued look of a confuse man, similar to the one we have in front of these distorting mirrors, not knowing anymore if our reflected figure does not belong to a whole other world, that of myths and shadows.
